In December 2018, Majelan, the French podcast application, announced that it had raised €4 million from Idinvest Partners and a number of business angels, including Jacques Veyrat, Xavier Niel and Fabrice Larue. In December 2019, it released the second tranche, amounting to €6 million, to bring the first funding round to €10 million. Majelan benefited from the reinvestment of its historical investors and the entry of bpifrance, via the Creative Industries division, leading to the deployment of exclusive narrative audio content and consider an international extension.
